"Shaady Salehi is Program Director at Active Voice, a team of communications specialists who harness the power of media to spark social change. In addition to directing and implementing many of AV's film campaigns, Shaady works directly with local and national organizations to develop strategies to maximize the use of film to meet defined objectives. She has spoken at a range of festivals and conferences discussing the effectiveness of using documentaries as a community engagement tool, including the American Association of Colleges and Universities faculty institute, the SILVERDOCS Film Festival and the National Coalition for Dialogue and Deliberation Conference. Shaady holds an MA in Anthropology and is currently enrolled in Columbia University's Strategic Communications program."
