"Traci L. Morris, a member of the Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma, has a PhD in American Indian Studies and is the owner of Homahota Consulting . In this capacity, Morris works as the Policy Analyst for Native Public Media. She is also adjunct faculty for the American Indian Studies Department at Arizona State University and the American Indian Studies Department at East Central Oklahoma University. Her background includes working with tribal communities in Arizona and Tribal Leaders doing community outreach, policy analysis, resource development, planning, training and technical assistance, coalition building, grant management, database management, analysis and interpretation of data, and report writing. She has 9 years of undergraduate teaching experience at the various colleges and Universities in Arizona and is a co_editor on the popular college textbook Native American Voices: A Reader to be released by Prentice_Hall in October of this year.
