Peer Coaching Circles

Nonprofit arts leaders face unique challenges. They frequently provide support and mentorship to their staffs and boards, yet neglect to find outlets for their own development. The risk of burnout and leading in isolation is high.

When you participate in a Peer Coaching Circle, you’ll have the time to address your stickiest issues in a confidential forum with colleagues who understand what it’s like to run an arts organization. You will find new solutions to old problems and be energized to take inspired action. In the process, you will develop new coaching skills that will help you maximize the potential of your staff and board.

Who Is This For?

This program is highly effective for executive directors, co-directors and CEOs at all stages of their careers.

How It Works

A Peer Coaching Circle consists of three to four NAMAC members who meet on a 2-hour conference call twice per month for five months. Facilitated by a certified professional coach, participants set goals, share insights and materials, support and coach each other, and hold each other accountable for their actions.

Cost

Registration is $325 for the five-month program ($65 per month) plus long distance charges.

Registration and Timeline

  • The circle begins mid-February and runs to mid-June.
  • Deadline to register: February 8, 2011.
