Stressed out? NAMAC's conference could be your cure.
We know that the recession has got everyone a little stressed. So not only do we want everyone to learn, share and collaborate at this year's conference- but to meet new folks, have fun, explore Boston and maybe even cut loose on the dance floor.
To start things off, we've got comedian, writer and educator W. Kamau Bell as the emcee for our opening plenary. Take a peek at his work..
Still haven't decided? Check out this video of Marc Bamuthi Joseph, one of America's leading performance poets as well as a speaker for our closing plenary.
To top it off, we've got parties and tours aplenty to keep you moving in Boston. Heard about our Artist Space Bike Tour yet? You'll get the opportunity to check out some of Boston's hottest artist studios and gallery space developments on bicycle. If you'd prefer something a little more low-key, there are plenty of options. Take a chartered bus to WGBH's new all-digital studios, or check out public art in a guided walking tour of the Boston Commons.
Whatever you decide, make sure to save some energy for the nightlife. Party with the movers and shakers of Boston's film and television industry on Friday night, then suit up in your best space attire for our closing night party, an intergalactic open-air dance party under McGrath Highway.
If you still need convincing, check out the program yourself, drop us a line or contact us via Twitter or Facebook... Hope you're as excited as we are for this year's conference!
