If I’ve received a NAMAC CBS grant in the past when can I reapply?
Awardees must wait 12 months before reapplying.

Can a project that wasn't awarded in a previous grant cycle be resubmitted?
Yes. Organizations may resubmit proposals that were not awarded in previous years. If you have additional questions about a project you are resubmitting contact the NAMAC staff member listed below.

As an individual NAMAC member, can I apply on behalf of an organization that is not a NAMAC member?
No. Applications must come from current organizational members of NAMAC.

How much general information should I include about my organization in the proposal?
Only include what is needed to effectively answer the application questions listed in the RFP and cover page (also shown below in the next question). Additional materials (brochures, reports, etc.) will not be used in the evaluation process so please do not include them.

How are proposals evaluated?
The evaluation criteria is based on the questions provided in the RFP (also shown below), so it is recommended that you structure the proposal narrative directly around those questions.

What is your project and how will it increase capacity? What is compelling about this project and why do it now? What lasting change will the project make within your organization and the community you serve? Who are the key players, internally and externally, who will champion this project and what is their commitment? ).

When will I find out if my proposal is receiving funds?
All applicants will receive award notification by December 5, 2008.

I have multiple projects in mind, can I submit more than one proposal?
No. Organizations can only submit one proposal per cycle.

What should be included in the project budget?
The budget you submit should include direct project expenses and any internal or external support for the project already committed or pending (including NAMAC).

Should a biography be submitted for internal staff related to the project?
No. Biographies should only be submitted for external consultant(s) or service provider(s) attached to your project. Biographies should not exceed 200 words.
